MySource Matrix FAQ

No licence fee:  Since MySource Matrix is open source, it is free to download and free to use. There is no software licences fee so your money is spent on what matters, solutions development.

Mature produce: MySource Matrix is a truly world class enterprise level content management system. In practice this means that for most medium size organisations all the functionality they could need is already in the system. There is no need for expensive development time, you just turn on the functionality you need.

Who developed MySource Matrix: MySource Matrix was developed and is managed by Squiz via their offices in Australia, New Zealand and in the UK.

What relationship dose Intendance have with Squiz: Intendance is one of Squiz UK’s agency partners. Squiz UK works with some of Europe's leading consultancy organisations to deliver 'best practise' solutions to customers in every industry sector.

Controlled innovation:  As MySource Matrix is open source, you can benefit immediately from the regular product innovations that are created by the global MySource Matrix user community.  In practise, this means that as soon as Future Publishing develops a new product feature, you can choose to use it too.  Squiz’s role is to manage the ‘open development community’ to ensure that innovations are made available to you, and that the best features are in MySource Matrix product updates

Control of your assets:  As MySource Matrix is open source, you own it.   This means no fees, no proprietary licences, and, most importantly, no dilution or restriction of your valuable IP.  You own everything that you do with MySource Matrix - you can freely adapt it and develop it to your own needs, without restraint

Controlled development speed:  Unlike a commercial software product, the development roadmap for MySource Matrix is not created in an ‘ivory tower,’ and new versions of the product are not distributed as periodical paid-for upgrades.  Instead, because you own the software 100%, you are free to develop the product at your own speed.  MySource Matrix follows an ‘open development’ roadmap.  This is managed by Squiz, and is based on user community input to ensure that product updates are constant and that they always address real world requirements
